FUE hair transplantation is one of the most common and effective methods of obtaining hair follicle transplants. First introduced in 2004, FUE hair transplantation is now among the most preferred hair transplantation methods.
In the FUE method, hair roots are individually extracted from the donor area and transplanted to areas with sparse hair. Grafts are collected using micromotor tips, typically 0.7–1 mm in diameter, causing minimal damage to the surrounding tissue. The extracted hair roots are placed in the sparse area, taking into account their natural direction and angle of growth.
With the FUE hair transplant method, an average of 2,500–3,500 grafts can be transplanted in a single session, depending on the person's hair structure and baldness. FUE hair transplantation leaves no scars and has a very fast recovery process, as it does not require surgical incisions or stitches.
In the first stage of the FUE hair transplantation procedure, grafts are taken without damaging the tissue using an optivizor glasses. In the application, one out of every seven hairs is taken, so the amount of hair taken from the back of the head is not apparent later on. This ensures that the person does not have a sparse appearance at the back of the head. The transplantation procedure is extremely simple and does not require surgery. Furthermore, the patient experiences only minimal pain after the procedure. However, the recovery period is quite fast. In addition, only the area where the hair follicles are transplanted will have small incisions. However, these heal very quickly without leaving any scars.
