Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy was developed in 1952 by French physician Dr. Michel Pistor and was initially used to treat migraines, varicose veins, and general pain complaints. Over time, this method has evolved and has become one of the most frequently preferred non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments today. In France, the birthplace of mesotherapy, tens of thousands of people benefit from this procedure every year.

In mesotherapy applications, very fine needles measuring 2–6 mm in length are used to deliver vitamins, minerals, and active ingredients directly into the problematic area of the skin. Suitable for all skin types, this method is considered safe and controlled. Since the treatment is applied directly to the targeted area, very low doses are sufficient. This increases effectiveness while significantly reducing the risk of allergic reactions, drug interactions, and serious side effects.

After mesotherapy, individuals can immediately return to their daily life or work. Mesotherapy is a comfortable and effective treatment method that is safely used for skin rejuvenation, renewal, and revitalization.

How Is Mesotherapy Performed?

Mesotherapy begins with thoroughly cleansed skin, free from makeup and impurities. To prevent discomfort during the procedure, a topical anesthetic cream is first applied to the treatment area. Approximately 30 minutes are allowed for the anesthetic to take effect.

After this period, skin-rejuvenating and restorative substances are injected directly into the middle layer of the skin using micro-fine needles. The type and amount of the substances used are determined according to the individual’s expectations, skin type, and overall skin condition. In mesotherapy, numerous products from different brands with varying formulations are available. This allows the treatment to be customized for each patient, ensuring more effective and natural-looking results.

What Is Mesotherapy Used For?

Mesotherapy is applied to tighten the skin and improve overall skin quality. It helps soften superficial wrinkles and reduces the formation of new ones. It is also effective in minimizing the appearance of skin spots. Additionally, it supports the renewal of dull, tired, and damaged skin caused by smoking and adverse lifestyle factors. Mesotherapy is also used to help reduce the appearance of cellulite.
