Fibrocell is an advanced application focused on the development of autologous (personalized) fibroblast-based cell therapies used in aesthetic, medical, and scientific fields. Fibroblasts are the primary cells within connective tissue that produce fibers such as collagen and elastin, playing a crucial role in the skin’s structure, strength, and elasticity.
Since autologous fibroblast treatments use the patient’s own cells, biological compatibility is extremely high and the risk of allergic reactions is almost negligible. Clinical evaluations have demonstrated that this treatment method delivers successful and safe results. Thanks to the regenerative and reparative capacity of fibroblast cells, natural skin rejuvenation, tightening, and improved skin quality can be achieved. With these features, Fibrocell applications stand out as an innovative cell therapy offering not only medical but also aesthetic benefits with long-lasting results.
Fibrocell cell therapy is a safe procedure performed under local anesthesia and sterile conditions. In the first stage of the procedure, 1–2 small biopsy samples are typically taken from behind the ear or the inner arm area. Since local anesthesia is applied, this step is painless and comfortable.
The collected tissue samples are then processed in a high-technology laboratory environment, where they are multiplied into millions of new fibroblast cells. These cells are subsequently injected beneath the skin to support skin regeneration and stimulate collagen synthesis. Because the fibroblasts are derived from the patient’s own cells, Fibrocell treatment provides natural, long-lasting, and effective skin rejuvenation results.
The number of Fibrocell sessions is determined based on the individual’s skin type and a detailed skin assessment. Generally, the treatment is planned as 3 or 4 sessions at 15-day intervals. Each session is designed to support the skin’s natural renewal process.
As the injected fibroblast cells enhance natural collagen and elastin production, visible improvements typically begin to appear within 2–3 weeks. Since Fibrocell promotes long-term skin regeneration, the results can maintain their effectiveness for approximately 3 to 5 years.
